Ben Fink (Composer) Sydney-based singer/producer/composer Ben Fink has been involved in the Australian independent music scene for many years. He has played in Bands such as King Clam and The Whitlams (landing #1 in Triple J’s hottest 100 and 3 Aria awards in 1998), co-writing Higher Ground(on Love This City), Still in Love with You and the single Best Work (on Torch The Moon). Ben has composed music for many independent short films , theatre productions and feature films including What Grown Ups Know (Jonathan Wald, 30min) and Travellers and Magicians (Khyentsee Norbu). Ben is currently touring and recording with Lior. He co-wrote Lior’s latest single I’ll Forget You. In Papa Bilong Chimbu Ben used various elements and sounds of Papua New Guinean instruments and traditional PNG chord structures to compose a music that, combined with modern guitar and string elements, would reflect the cross-cultural experience that took place. |
